I wanted to apologize to all that have commented on me and left me messages and to my new friends/maggots on here. not being rude just really been a hectic tour schedule for me….between being at the venues and being on the motorcycle I have just been going nuts. In my spare time I have been mapping out routes and deciding which ways to go.
One of my favorite routes was from Interlaken to Milan. I FINALLY went through Grimsel Pass and Furka Pass on the Beemer. Just excellent views. Quite lonely but a great way to think about things that can be troubling in life. Some of you may have read my past blogs about my motorcycle trips into Alaska and North Canada a few months ago. Just beautiful scenery and excellent time to be alone and think things over. My favorite drummer, Neil Peart of RUSH wrote the book Ghost Rider: Travels on the Healing Road. For me all this traveling on the motorcycle has been like the healing road for me. I know many of you dont know me well enough but over the last 8-9 years of my life I have been alone. I have no kids, no girlfriend, no life….between bands, travel, motorcycle and everything else I do I dont have time to meet women. Besides what woman wants an overweight guy like myself. I seriously have been watching what I eat and hoping to loose more weight in the months to come. I am already doing well right now.
I just wanted you all to know that I wasnt trying to be rude. Just been going through alot between Slipknot and motorcycle. PLUS my laptop got a horrible virus rootkit that I couldnt get rid of. I had to restore the recovery image on my laptop. Acer had to send me a new laptop to replace the one that was giving me issues. thanx to the fact that I said, “im on tour right now and I REALLY need a working laptop” so they overnighted a new one to me at my expense but thats ok. I got the new laptop in the UK where I had it shipped. Was waiting for me!
At first I had taken a SHITLOAD of pictures but lately I just havent really had the urge to take any. I posted my FLICKR page if you still want to add me as a friend. I promise to get more pics up soon! I feel really shitty that on this whole trip I only met up with 2 friends and just havent been alert enough to look through the masses of people for more. I kept my eyes out for many though. one of my friends named Andreas went to the ROCK IM show. was awesome to see him again. I remember when he came to America as a German exchange student. Man we got fucked up drunk alot before he went back home!! LOL he was different this time. had long hair and all when before he was always shaved like I am lol
So anyways thats the scoop with me lately. Sorry for the lack of updates and blogs/pics….i promise to get more up soon! dont delete me as your friend! lol
